 Word Report Builder is a report generator that outputs reports in Microsoft Word document format. The program is a powerful, easy to use and flexible tool that enables Microsoft Word to be powerful reporting generator.
If you know how to use Microsoft Word and write SQL statements, you can use Word Report Builder to create all kinds of reports as you need. The program supports high level of report customization such as cover page, header, tables, etc.
To create a report, Word Report Builder uses a report template file and a *.rep file. The report template file is a Microsoft Word document that defines the layouts and formats of a report. The *.REP file contains SQL statements and some information, and tells Word Report Builder how to get data from database and how to put data into a report. You can create extremely complex reports.
